At Tractor Supply we are focused on Development (it’s one of our company values). In 2018, the company invested over 400,000 Training and Development hours in our Team Members, and more than 4,700 Team Members were promoted.
Team Member Engagement is part of our "ONETRACTOR" strategy. Every year all Team Members are encouraged to participate in our Town Hall Survey to measure engagement, safety, culture, and just how well we are living up to our Values. Our overall engagement scores have consistently been over 80%.
We take our Team Members seriously and believe in recognizing those who uphold our Mission & Values. To that end, based on feedback from our Team Members, we developed the Going the Country Mile peer-to-peer recognition program. Team Members recognize each other every day at Tractor Supply - in fact, more than 100,000 Team Members are recognized every year! Once a year, we select a handful of Team Members who truly embody our culture and recognize them in front of the whole company. These annual winners embody what it means to Go the Country Mile for their customers and their teams.
