Our Administrative Support staff is made of Team Members who manage and distribute information within departments, schedule and coordinate meetings, events and other similar activities. Admin Support is hands-on with company projects and interacting with business partners and outside vendors.
The Help Desk and Customer Solutions Center provide Legendary Service to our customers and Team Members through knowledge of all facets of Tractor Supply Company. Through phone, email, web, and mail communications, they are the voice of the Store and the Customer.
We provide our customers continuity across their shopping experiences, whether in-store or online. We design and deliver shopping conveniences our customers seek today, so they can shop with us anytime, anywhere, and any way they choose.
The Financing, Accounting, and Audit functions at Tractor Supply Company are responsible for financial planning and forecasting, general accounting, account reconciliation, and indirect purchasing. They generate the annual budget and financial forecasts, and provide analytical support on Company business trends, initiatives, and strategies.
The Human Resources department enables our Team Members to demonstrate Tractor Supply’s Values through developmental programs; reward and recognition; and human resources tools, processes, and policies. With a relentless focus on equipping our Team Members for success, the HR department strives to give Team Members the opportunity to focus on our Mission of Working Hard, Having Fun and Making Money!
Indirect Procurement is responsible for optimizing Tractor Supply’s non-merchandise spend while continuously mitigating risk and improving supplier performance and Team Member productivity. This team does this by utilizing strategic sourcing best practices and overseeing procurement policy, standard processes, related automation and data analytics and reporting. With Tractor Supply’s strong growth trajectory, there are numerous opportunities to drive value to the bottom line while partnering with suppliers and taking inefficiencies out of the overall procurement process along the way.
TSC’s corporate internship program gives students the chance to "Learn, Develop, Network, Train, and Grow" through hands-on experience. The Information Technology group is responsible for protecting customer and employee data through security technologies and for the design and support of infrastructure technologies to facilitate Tractor Supply’s growing business. This department also coordinates incident response and supports software-defined network infrastructure; public and private cloud technologies; mission-critical systems at scale; and data center facilities.
The Licensing Department at Tractor Supply Company plays a vital role in the overall success of the company by ensuring its stores and other facilities are compliant with state and local laws and regulations pertaining to licensing and other day-to-day operations. The Licensing Department has the unique opportunity to work with various internal and external business partners providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight to, and a working knowledge of, the many areas of the business that make Tractor Supply Company the largest operator of rural lifestyle retail stores in the United States, as well as an awesome place to work!

The Marketing Department at Tractor Supply Company works to create stronger relationships with our customers, promote our business, and drive sales of our products and services. Using a variety of marketing channels, the marketing department reaches to existing customers, prospective customers, investors and the community to create an overarching image of "Life Out Here" for the Tractor Supply brand. We also provide the necessary research to identify our key customers and other segments, understanding and knowing them in order to create the most relevant marketing programs.
Merchandising focuses on the wants and needs of our customer so we can be the most dependable and consistent supplier of their farm and ranch needs. We focus on high quality and dependable products that support the lifestyle of our customers and brings them the best value.
Ensuring we provide our customers with the best possible value is the focus of the Pricing department. Pricing is integral to ensuring we continue to be the most dependable supplier of products to farm, ranch and rural customers.
Creating new Exclusive Brands products that offer additional benefits to the Tractor Supply customer is the job of our Product Management Team. Product development may involve modification of an existing product or its presentation, or formulation of an entirely new product that satisfies a newly defined customer need or gap in the market.
Finding new and maintaining existing Tractor Supply locations is the focus of the Real Estate & Construction department. We know many of our customers live in rural areas, so this department works hard to provide the convenience of our Stores to as many customers as possible.
Store Administration provides programs, services, support and communications directly to our Store Team Members. All communication from the Store Support Center is filtered through this group to ensure we provide Team Members with a clear and consistent message. Many Store Admin programs and services are designed to save time for Team Members through partnerships with national service vendors while others such as delivery and rentals are designed to drive sales and provide a better Customer Experience. The goal of every program and communication is to ensure Store Team Members have the time and tools they need to provide Legendary Service to our Customers.
The Supply Chain group focuses on end-to-end supply chain optimization and optimizing the inside of the Distribution Centers via the field support team. The planning teams focus on supply chain design, modeling, landed cost, flow, packaging, vendor operations, analytics, financials, and payables. The field support team focuses on continuous improvement, engineering, slotting, new tools & technologies, labor management, communications, and problem resolution.
